Domestic Violence Prep Course

Twenty hours of structured, pre-adjudication education — the accountability and communication curriculum defense attorneys recommend their clients complete before trial.

Why take it

A proactive record before your hearing.

The 20-hour DV Prep Course is not a replacement for a batterer-intervention program (BIP) or for court-ordered MRT. It is a pre-adjudication education course designed for defendants who want to demonstrate proactive engagement before sentencing — a record of voluntary accountability work.

Most students complete the 20 hours as ten 2-hour evening sessions over 10 weeks, or as five 4-hour weekend sessions over five weeks. On completion, we issue a signed certificate of attendance that can be filed with your attorney.
